Saw Glen VDJing at Sub-T last night. Pretty fascinating event, great toons, great videos. I only got a few shots before my battery died. Anyway, I like this one.

Kelan Phil Cohran Quintet @ Elastic

Jen, Adam and myself battled the frozen city streets Saturday to see KPC at Elastic. The room was small and dark, but was soon filled with cosmic imagery and psychedelic sounds. During the middle of the set, it became much more intimate as he discussed the great musicians he was playing with, the players of the past and the history of Chicago. When he began discussing the unity of musicians and lovers of music, I was touched. The room grossed 12 people max. I had my camera, but was to entranced to shoot any. Please forgive me. See KPC at the Ethiopian Diamond every friday night.

Finally got the cdr from Mikale this week for the first Lazer Crystal 12". It will be in Bob Weston's hands this week. Hopefully a hard copy by February on hot pink vinyl.
